US offers to let Taliban off the hook

So much for the great moral clarity of Bush.

There are bigger fish to fry (and more things to blow up and rebuild) in Iraq, where we unilaterally obliterated a regime which had nothing whatsoever to do with the murder of over 3000 of our citizens on 9/11.
