Kerik's Out-Who'll be next choice for Homeland Security?
I wonder who'll be nominated as Homeland Security secretary now that Bernard Kerik has decided to drop out? My bets are on Asa Hutchinson (unless he has gubernatorial aspirations). I'd be surprised if Bush were to choose Thomas Keane (a Republican who chaired the 9/11 panel), although he may wish to pay Mr. Keane back for being pretty soft on him in the final 9/11 Commission analysis, knowing Bush ignored all those pre-9/11 memos, warnings, and signs.
